Understanding Homepage Welcome & About Pages
Homepage Welcome
The Homepage Welcome section is typically used for a short introduction to your dealership. It appears prominently on the homepage and helps customers quickly understand who you are, what you offer, and why they should choose your dealership.
About Page
The About Page provides more detailed information about your dealership. It is designed for customers who want to learn more about your business, including your history, values, locations, and services.
We recommend using shortcodes throughout your content wherever possible. This helps keep your website content consistent and makes future updates easier.
Short codes are placeholders that automatically display information such as your dealership name, address, phone number, or brand. They can be identified by double curly brackets surrounding a word or phrase.
For example, if your dealership details change, we can update the information in one location and it will automatically update wherever that short code is used across your website.
By default, we create short codes for:
- Dealership Name {{ dealerName }}
- Suburb {{ suburb }}
- State {{ state }}
- Street Address {{ address }}
- Phone Number {{ phone }}
- Brand Name {{ brand }}

Updating Your Homepage Welcome Message
Navigate to:
- Homepage
- Content
From here you can update:
- Heading
- Welcome text
- Image / Video
Updating Your About Us Page Content
Open the Pages Section
Navigate to:
- Content
- Header Navigation & Pages
- Pages
Edit the About Us Page
Locate your About Us page and click the Edit (pencil) icon.
Open the Page Components
Click Edit Components.
Edit the Content Component
Locate the Content component and click the Edit (pencil) icon.
Update the Content
Use the editor to update and format your About Us content as required.
You can:
- Add and edit text
- Create headings and subheadings
- Add links
- Format content using the editor toolbar
- Edit in HTML (optional for advanced users)
Publish Your Changes (Build & Deploy)
After saving your updates, navigate to Start Build and click Build & Deploy to publish your changes to the website.
If you have additional CMS updates to make, we recommend completing them first so you can publish everything at once.
