How to Manage Your Meet the Team Page

Learn how to manage your Meet the Team page in the iMotor CMS, including adding team members, updating staff profiles, creating departments, assigning locations, and managing team page content.


Understanding the Meet the Team page


The Meet the Team page allows dealerships to showcase staff members and departments, helping customers connect with the right people across the business.

Team members can be organised into departments such as:

  • Sales
  • Service
  • Parts
  • Administration
  • Finance

Each team member profile can include information such as:

  • Name
  • Job title
  • Contact details
  • Profile image
  • Biography

Please note: The Meet the Team page is an optional website feature and may not be available on all dealership websites.

Don't Have Access to Meet the Team?

If the Meet the Team feature is not available in your CMS, please contact your Account Manager or submit a support request to discuss enabling this feature on your website.


Open the iMotor CMS


Navigate to https://cms.imotor.com.au/ & click "CMS"

Manage Team Page Content

Navigate to:

  1. Meet the Team
  2. Team Page Content

From here, you can update the heading and introductory content displayed above your team members on the Meet the Team page.

Manage Team Departments

Navigate to:

  1. Meet the Team
  2. Team Departments

From this screen you can:

  • Add new departments
  • Edit department names
  • Delete departments
  • Reorder departments

Departments appear as tabs at the top of the Meet the Team page, helping visitors quickly find the right staff members.

Don't forget to toggle the department as Active once you've finished adding it. New departments won't appear on your website until they have been activated.


Team Member Configuration


Manage Team Members

Navigate to:

  1. Meet the Team
  2. Team Members

From this screen you can:

  • Add a team member
  • Edit a team member
  • Delete a team member
  • Toggle team members active or inactive

Add or Edit a Team Member Profile

Complete the fields you would like displayed for each team member, including:

  • Name
  • Job Title
  • Email Address
  • Mobile Number
  • Phone Number
  • Biography

Note: Only fields that are completed will be displayed on the website.

Add Custom Profile Content

The Custom Text tab allows you to add additional content that will display above the team member's contact details.

Assign Team Members to Departments

If you have already created departments in the Team Departments section, you can select which department tabs the team member will appear under.

A team member can belong to multiple departments if required.

Assign team member to specific locations

If you have multiple locations/addresses for your dealership, you can assign the team member manually in the "locations" tab. You will also have the option to add to departments.

These are based on your dealership locations & departments.

Assign Team Members to Vehicles

The Vehicles tab allows you to associate team members with specific vehicle brands, models, or inventory where applicable.

This can help customers connect with staff members who specialise in particular vehicles.

Don't forget to toggle the team member as Active once you've finished adding it. New members won't appear on your website until they have been activated.


Publish Your Changes (Build & Deploy)


After saving your updates, navigate to Start Build and click Build & Deploy to publish your changes to the website.

If you have additional CMS updates to make, we recommend completing them first so you can publish everything at once.

Please note: Website updates may take a short time to appear after publishing.
