Understanding the Different Types of Specials
Local Specials
Local Specials are created and managed by your dealership.
They're ideal for promoting:
- Dealership-specific offers
- Seasonal campaigns
- Demonstrator clearance events
- Local sales events
- Finance or servicing promotions
- Community partnerships and promotions
These specials appear only on your website and can be tailored to your local audience.
This article focuses on creating and managing Local Specials.
Tip: For the best results, keep your local specials current and time-sensitive. Regularly updating offers, campaigns, and seasonal promotions helps keep your website fresh and gives customers a reason to revisit your Specials page.
Stock Specials
Stock Specials are linked to specific vehicles in your inventory.
They are commonly used to highlight:
- Featured vehicles
- Reduced pricing
- Demonstrator vehicles
- Runout stock
- Limited-time offers
Stock specials can be displayed alongside vehicle listings and vehicle detail pages to attract additional attention.
Brand Specials
Brand Specials are created and maintained by the manufacturer or brand.
These offers are managed centrally and automatically displayed across participating dealership websites, ensuring promotions remain consistent, accurate, and up to date across the dealer network.
Brand specials typically appear under Special Offers in your website navigation and cannot be edited at a dealership level.
