Learn how to manage the Floating Toolbox and Mobile CTA Bar in the iMotor CMS, including adding, editing, removing, reordering, and activating quick-access buttons for your website visitors.
Understanding the Floating Toolbox & Mobile CTA Bar
Floating Toolkit:
The Floating Toolbox is a collection of quick-access buttons displayed while customers browse your website on desktop devices.
These buttons provide convenient access to important actions such as:
- Contacting your dealership
- Submitting an enquiry
- Viewing key pages
- Accessing dealership services
Mobile CTA Bar:
The Mobile CTA Bar is a mobile-specific set of call-to-action buttons displayed while customers browse your website on mobile devices.
These buttons provide quick access to the actions most important to mobile users, such as:
- Calling the dealership
- Making an enquiry
- Booking a service
- Navigating to key pages
Open the iMotor CMS
Navigate to https://cms.imotor.com.au/ & click "CMS"

Configure the Floating Toolbox
Open Toolbox Configuration
Navigate to:
- Settings
- Toolbox Configuration
From this screen you can:
- Reorder toolbox links by dragging and dropping them into position
- Toggle toolbox links active or inactive
- Choose the toolbox display type
- Add new toolbox links
- Edit existing toolbox links
Note: A maximum of six toolbox links can be added.
Configure a Toolbox Link
When creating or editing a toolbox link, you can:
- Add a Working Title (visible within the CMS only)
- Choose whether the button links to a form, internal page, or external website
- Configure the button label text
- Select an icon
Configure Mobile CTA Buttons
Open Mobile CTA Configuration
Navigate to:
- Settings
- Mobile CTAs Configuration
From this screen you can:
- Reorder CTA buttons by dragging and dropping
- Add new CTAs
- Edit existing CTAs
- Delete CTAs
- Toggle CTAs active or inactive
Note: A maximum of three Mobile CTA buttons can be configured. If three CTAs already exist, you will need to delete one before adding another, even if some CTAs are currently inactive.
Configure a Mobile CTA
When creating or editing a Mobile CTA, you can:
- Add a Working Title (visible within the CMS only)
- Choose whether the button links to a form, internal page, or external website
- Configure the button label text
- Select an icon
Tip: Keep Mobile CTA labels short and action-focused, such as:
- Call Now
- Enquire
- Book a Service
- Contact Us
This helps ensure buttons remain clear and easy to tap on smaller screens.
Publish Your Changes (Build & Deploy)
After saving your updates, navigate to Start Build and click Build & Deploy to publish your changes to the website.
If you have additional CMS updates to make, we recommend completing them first so you can publish everything at once.
