- Blog post title

- Activation and deactivation dates
- Short copy (article summary or introduction)
- Long copy (the main content of your article)
Activation and deactivation dates allow content to automatically appear or be removed from your website during a specified timeframe.
The short copy acts as a summary of your article. It may be displayed in blog listings and can help both visitors and search engines quickly understand what the article is about.
Add SEO Title Tags & Meta Descriptions
The Title Tag and Meta Description help search engines understand your article and can influence how it appears in search results.
Title Tag
The title tag is the headline that may appear in search engine results.
Best practice:
- Keep it concise and descriptive
- Include important keywords where relevant
- Make it clear what the article is about
Meta Description
The meta description is a short summary of the page that may appear beneath the title in search results.
Best practice:
- Clearly summarise the article
- Include relevant keywords naturally
- Encourage users to click through to learn more
Why Is This Important?
Well-written title tags and meta descriptions can help improve your article's visibility in search engines and encourage more users to visit your website.
Assign Tags to Your Blog Post
Once your tags have been created, you can assign them to your blog post.
Tags help:
- Organise content by topic
- Improve visitor navigation
- Make related articles easier to discover
We recommend applying one or more relevant tags to every blog post.

After saving your updates, navigate to Start Build and click Build & Deploy to publish your changes to the website.
If you have additional CMS updates to make, we recommend completing them first so you can publish everything at once.
